Brothers enjoyed a video presentation of the "Masonic Symbolism of Washington DC as presented by Akram R. Elias, 33rd Degree and member of the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia. Brother Walter Kaulfers gave a brief synopsis of Brother Elias' career and contributions to Freemasonry.

The Global Microscope

RW Joseph Amara treated the brothers to a demonstration of the Global Microscope which will be housed at the Liberty Science Center where Joe works.

The Global Microscope is a pedestal-mounted, five-foot diameter sphere on which real-time or recorded digital media is shown. The Global Microscope presentseasy to grasp visualizations of compilations based on vast amounts of data, such as multiple global warming indicators, complex atmospheric movements, tsunami propagation and scores of other phenomena. It can even show live satellite images of science in action, such as erupting volcanoes.
