On Saturday April 15, 2006, AT&T Lodge #77 in Tenafly, NJ invited the Blood Mobile from the Community Blood Bank to have a Blood Drive. Even though this was the day before Easter there was still a great turnout of Master Masons and other concerned community members.

AT&T Lodge served coffee and donuts in the early morning hours, and sandwiches later in the day. Thanks to everyone who Donated.

Blood donations in the North Jersey area are seriously low. A combination of factors has lead to this current shortage. They include mad cow's disease in Europe, 6 month blood quarantine of our Armed Forces personnel and SARS in Asia. Your contribution of blood is now more necessary than ever. Remember that a Mason's charity should be extensive and keep your Brothers' and their families', who are in sickness and distress, in mind. Don't delay. Give blood now, and remember that you don't have to be a Mason to donate.
